Description

This class continues the introduction to the classic texts of social theory begun in Social Studies 10a through the twentieth century. Authors include Friedrich Nietzsche, Max Weber, Emile Durkheim, W.E.B. Du Bois, Sigmund Freud, Simone de Beauvoir, Frantz Fanon, and Michel Foucault.

Course Notes

This course is limited to students who have taken Social Studies 10a. This course must be taken for a Letter Grade and cannot be taken Pass/Fail. Please sign up for the Thursday 12:45-2:45 section time. If you have a scheduling conflict, you may sign up for the TBD section time in order to register; however, we cannot guarantee an alternate section time.
