Description
Tropospheric and stratospheric gas and aerosol chemistry. Carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and mercury cycles. Implications for climate change, air quality, ecosystems.
Course Notes
Intended to be an introductory survey of atmospheric chemistry to serve first-year Ph.D. students in the atmospheric sciences as well as students specializing in other areas of Environmental Science and Engineering. Undergraduate students may take EPS 200 with permission of the instructors. This course is also offered as EPS 200. Students may not take both for credit.
